How we rate restaurants

Every reviewer pays their own bill. We never accept comped meals or paid coverage.

We score on five axes: cooking, service, atmosphere, value, and consistency. The final number is a weighted blend.

Reviews are published only after at least one independent visit; high-profile rooms get two.
